"The Nike Air Max 1 was Tinker Hatfield's first Nike Air Max design. It is the first sneaker to feature visible Max Air and debuted in 1987. It is considered by many to be one of the greatest sneakers in history, and continues to be a coveted item in its various special edition colorways, limited issues, and collaborations." - SneakerNews.com

The Nike Air Max 1 "Patch" Pack features three military-inspired shades.. Black, Beige, and Olive. Uniquely designed to build upon key people, places, and moments that helped signify the Air Max revolution with twenty-two included patches to create the ultimate custom look. The three-letter symbols pay homage to Tokyo (TKO), London (LDN), Milan (MLN), New York (NYC), Paris (PRS), Shanghai (HAI), and a special nod to legendary Nike designer Tinker Hatfield with TH87 and TH90 markings. The shoe has been rebuilt with a no-sew mudguard with premium canvas filling the entire upper with polyester velcro overlays along the heel and tongue. This allows each individual sneakerhead to attach or detach the included patches as they please.

The exclusive pack first debuted at select Nike accounts worldwide but has officially arrived stateside this past week at Nike retailers, March 12, 2015.
